Great Family Owned Restaurant Experience

I had heard good things about Laterna and we were in the area and decided to try it out. First things i noticed was lack of parking, you cannot park on the street and we did not noticed any Laterna only parking. We found a nearby empty parking lot and walked about 30 sec to the door. We had a large Greek Salad (was huge, could easily server 3-4 ppl as a appetizer or side salad) and two chicken souvlakis. The souvlaki were easily the best both of us had ever had. It was large and amazing. The bread was super fresh and the tzatziki was incredible. Service was great and quick. We left stuffed and happy. Our bill was $32. We noticed that every table that was seated after us knew what they wanted before they opened a menu. A good sign ! Would recommend based on what we had. I love family owned restaurants, i find the quality of food is higher than chains.

My family has dined at Laterna for over twenty years. Great pizza and souvlaki. I often get both together!

Best chicken souvlaki in a pita in Toronto , very tasty . the price is about $9 + taxes , you should definitely try it.
