The atmosphere wasn't that nice it looked like a family diner, i felt like i was at denny's. i was shocked to see a greek restaurant did not have half of what i am used to seeing at a traditional greek restaurant menu. it was very canadianized i was very discounted. the food was pretty terrible i only ate the pork, the rice i didnt eat. there didnt have enough, so they gave us cold french fries and the greek salad had casear dressing on it. needless to say i would give it a 2 or 2.5/5 and wouldnt visit again. it was almost as terrible as golden griddle.

Back in the Day

I used to work in the area many years ago and we would always come here. The food is good and the portions are huge. I used to always eat the fettucini alfredo and I always had to get a doggie bag. I will take my neice here after work one day soon for dinner as she likes to eat a lot! I suspect she won't be hungry 2 hours after leaving here.

When we walked in the stainglass windows were neat to see. Thinking oh this is going to be great. We walked in and you smell disappointment right away. The smell is old chinese greasy restaurant. Except it's not a chinese restaurant at all. The decor is a time warp into the 1980's. It's overwhelming. We should have asked to see the menu before sitting down because the menu is just that too. We thought well we're here we're hungry. I was in the mood for breakfast my friend was told the montreal smoked meat was the best around. The Breakfast menu was nothing but eggs and more eggs. No pancakes or even french toast. Spanish Omelet with pototoe and toast was a hugh disapointment. Over priced . Toast offered.. white bread only..the potatoe was just that a boiled potatoe. Hash browns or home potatoes was what I was expecting. Greasy ,eggy omelet no cheese .. the tomatoe onion mushroom toping was taste less not fresh at all..definately not edible. A jar of salsa would have been better choice. We were not offered any beverages while waiting for our order water glasses were scratched and old. No lemon offered in the water.. The orange juice was warm. Had to scoop out the ice cubes in the water to put in the juice..It was a Sunday afternoon not busy . The Montreal smoked meat sandwich was good not the best...the only mustard offered was yellow mustard the ketchup was not Heinz in the Heinz bottle tasted like Allan's Ketchup if you know ketchup ...it's sweeter. .The sandwich was impossible to eat too much meat.. enough to make 4 sandwiches. The fries were half burnt and undercooked very greasy get this the coldslaw was warm-slaw. The best part my friend said was the pickle. We told the waiter about the uneaten omelet and the prices were too high for the food offered. He didn't even offer or take off the omelet off the bill. We had 4 different waiters /waitress wait on us. We had this male waiter reach over behind my friends shoulder to pour water in her glass any closer he would have had his face slapped. It startled her and kind of freaked me out..Like what the heck was this guy doing? We just wanted to get out of there. They were trying to make up for quantiy instead of quality. Not a place to go if we had another earthquake the gigantic stained glass ceiling fixture above us looked likespace ship from Tiffany's. This place is in need of 911 from Restaurant Make Over.

I came here 3 times. I am not impressed with the food for lunch and dinner. I ordered the hamburger the first time and the second time had the pork soulvaki. The pork soulvaki was very oily and did not taste good. The dish was big with lots of food, but the meat was not tender. My wife ordered the special with ribs, wings, and shrimp. The shrimps were the only part that tasted good. For breakfast they do a good job, but I am not impressed for lunch or dinner and would not come back. On the good side the wait staff are excelent.

This family-run Mississauga-based source for hearty homemade fare is so well known for its gargantuan servings that Peter’s ranks high in every on-line search for “big portions.” Here, diners feast on massive helpings of lasagna, souvlaki and calamari before unbuttoning the top of their trousers.
