I'm don't know why this restaurant gets such great reviews. The food was just OK. The restaurant itself is dirty and in need of good cleaning. I will not return
I have been coming here for almost 10 years on and off. The service is consistently good and the wait staff are able to accommodate specific requests quite promptly. Occasionally there is a line, particularly during breakfast on the weekend, but the owner seems to be able to manage his staff in a way that keeps the line moving quickly. I have never had to wait more than 15 minutes in line for a table and I consider the wait worth it. The price to food quality and portion ratio is incredibly reasonable. The first time I went there and got the bill I could not believe how little I was paying. The atmosphere is nice, the restaurants seating mostly consists of booths that allow comfortable seating for groups of two but are a little small for groups of 3 or 4, especially the those 3 or 4 people are on the larger side of clothing sizes. The wait and cook staff are fast and efficient, the drinks, the meals, the bill all arrive fast without a ‘rush you in and out of the restaurant’ feeling and the food and coffee always arrives nice and hot.
Parking can be an issue especially at breakfast during the weekend. There are several other businesses located in the same plaza where customers are competing for parking spaces. If the line is long, which it can be, sometimes you can be waiting in this weird shelter they have built just outside the door or even outside. This usually isn't a problem for most people mid spring to mid fall but can be kind of a deterrent to visiting the restaurant during a cold Canadian winter morning.
the food is ok, however, country boy just began charging a 15% gratuity across the board for eat in and take home.
