Not as expected

I went to Hank the Mechanic a little over a week ago for an MVI, I had an appointment for 10am, when my vehicle was finally done at 11:30 I was given a list of repairs which would be needed to pass the inspection and a bill for $39.55, $25 for the MVI and $10 for shop fees + taxes (what shop fees cost $10 for an MVI I'm not sure but whatever) I asked for them to due up a quote and give me a call, that was 9 days ago and I haven't heard back so I decided to take the list of repairs needed and go to a different shop to get the work done. Out of the 7 repairs needed according to Hank the Mechanic staff I apparently only needed 3 to pass the MVI. Also he told me that my CV boot was torn and that they no longer sell just the boot so I would need a new axel, I know enough about cars to know they do sell the boot seperate for $25-$30 as opposed to an axel at $100 - $150, I can't afford to spend money on repairs not needed, if you're the same I say avoid Hank the Mechanic.

Highly Recommend Hank to get the Car you Want!

We searched months for the right used car for our son. A family member recommended Hank, and through his auction buying process, he was able to get the exact car we wanted within a week, and saved us couple grand compared to local lots. And the car is amazing! Service was excellent, shop and reception area are top notch.

EXCELLENT SERVICE.

The service from Hank the Mechanic is excellent - i have been going to Hank's for a year now. Tells me what needs to be done and does it. Has not once lied to me about the car. The prices here are excellent-for all the work that has been done to my car has not even reached 400.00 since going to Hank's. The staff are friendly and treat you with repect.
