Biryani is always made with just plain boiled rice mixed with meat. No spices, no biryani masala. Horrible chicken biriyani. And the last time i ordered, it was old and was not fresh at all and a kind of smelly. Also they should improve their customer service. I am so disappointed.
The food was not fresh I order 4 dishes and 3 of them were burnt, they just warm up the old food and delivered.
We spend $55. we will not recommend this restaurant.

Gulberg restaurant at Fraser street has terrible food,service, and is expensive. I took my 9 guests to this restaurant on May 29, 2017.It was an embarrassing experience; the dishes were dirty and soiled with food. I ordered more than $100 of food; Biryani was a mixture of boiled rice and scanty chicken with no flavour; Afghani kabab did not look anything close to as seen on the menu, instead boiled chicken sprinkled with pepper, other dishes were also terrible.I will never recommend or go there.
