Last week we had to organize a sudden meeting for our project with US clients. Due to lack of time we missed out planning for lunch but thanks to my ‘Opentable’ app Grilled Atlantic Salmon, Chicken Parmigianino, Spring Lamb with red wine that I found Carmelina Restaurant in Woodbine Avenue. Their event catering service for lunch & evening snacks made me & my team proud on my decision. I wonder how I missed looking this food place for last many years. Thank you Abbas for your cooperation & on-time food catering service with delicious Italian food as our guests loved it. Looking forward to visit the place personally and relish all again the Grilled Atlantic Salmon, Chicken Parmigianino, Spring Lamb with red wine. Read more

I hosted my birthday party this past April at Casa Manila (group of 30!) I was esctastic to discover that they hosted a Sunday brunch buffet with their top menu selections. Mila was my contact and she was AMAZING. Food was absolutely delicious! I had several guests with a diverse array of dietary restrictions (including vegetarian and no pork). My husband found this place while working. We drive from Warkworth to JPs! (an hour) just for lunch! he makes everything himself from the fresh cut fries to the chicken and beef and pork. His spices and sauces are delicious and authentic. My husband LOVES the pulled pork poutine, while I enjoy the classic chicken pita with his homemade traditional tzatziki sauce. Can't beat it! Made a reservation online, probably a good idea, heard it was a busy spot. We were late for our reservation but they honored it. And it was packed. I had the special, can't remember the type of beef but it was one of the best hamburgers I've ever had, and the poutine was also amazing. My girl had the turkey burger and sweet potato fries and she loved it. We also had the Pickle Fries (good) as a starter and two pints of beer, bill with tip was around $80. Charming atmosphere, beautiful chandeliers and old stone walls covered with vintage black and white photos. The food was excellent, and our server was absolutely lovely. A bit pricey, but really a wonderful experience overall. One thing to note is the two-hour limit on dining, which is best to know about in advance.
