Always yummy as you'd expect from a Swiss chalet. It's a very busy location but certain times of the day it is easier to be seated. Waits aren't usually too long. One time they ran out of chicken! But I love this restaurant and would say its my favourite place for dining. Read more

We arrived at the restaurant about 5:50 pm and it was packed. So upon arrival, we had to sign in and wait about 10 minutes. Then when we did get our table, we ordered our food and drinks, but due to the number of customers, our server was very distracted. So we ended up waiting 10 minutes for our food, but it was worth it when it arrived. The food was excellent, but our service was a little frustrating. The prices were also reasonable. It was about $33 for two of us to eat. Nonetheless, we will continue to go here. Read more

Change did Mom's good. Not sure who the new owners are, but we only went back because we heard the old ones were gone. The biggest difference, these people care, my breakfast was fast, hot, and very good. I went to college up the road, and after being treated poorly repeatedly by the previous owners, I said I would never go back. Well, am I ever glad I did. Went in on a Monday afternoon had their special 'Panko Fried Bass w/ fries, gravy & Coleslaw' SO good! I prefer to come here in the afternoon when it is a bit more quiet or get take out in the evening as this place start hoppin in the evenings. I have visited this location many times and have had a good meal overall in most instances. The most recent visit was for brunch. I was intrigued by the description for the pear and coconut pancakes but they were a letdown - dry, lacking flavour. The coffee is decent, a bit strong, not always hot. Their omelettes are usually good and I've heard that their strawberry french toast is good so maybe I'll give that a try. For dinner, I've tried Bellinis on numerous occasions but they are hit or miss (usually miss) - they don't always have a good flavour. I liked their very first menu when they opened - with chicken reggiano and white chocolate brownie. Their Caesar salad used to be a larger portion and had a LOT more roasted garlic in it but it seems they've cut back. Read more
