Still in April 2011 Milton Mall, me and the Paragon Security Guard ate supper here around 19:30hrs. We watch our food been freshly prepared on the grill by the owner. I ask for garlic on my shrimps and he did it, he even gave me 2 extra shrimps. Security order off the menu(not listed)Ginger pork on rice bowl. The stirfry veggies was great, lots of flavor, large portions for under $5.00..He loved the ginger pork and he told me he's comming back(In Milton Mall Food Court). Walking into Yo-Yo's, it was like I had completely stepped out of town into another world. Nothing like I had expected. The service and atmosphere alone make this place worth visiting. Is it the best Sushi I've ever had? No...in fact, the other place in town is actually tastier (and all you can eat), but lacks the same charm that Yo-Yo's has. It's a little pricey, but worth it! And while I say the other place has better tasting sushi (my opinion), that's not to downplay this place...it's still fantastic food!

Although this restaurant has gone through some growing pains, all is now well at Sushi4U. I have been frequenting Sushi4U for takeout during the past 5 years and will continue to do so. The decor has received a pleasant facelift and the fish is remarkably fresh. Servers and cooks are very friendly and quick. In the past 2 years, I have yet to be disappointed. I buy takeout at least once a month.

Ok so Sauga is full of great places, and Axia is one of those great places we always meet friends at when we're in the region.
The sushi here is quality and consistent. You can tell right away that they use a higher grade of fish than some of the local AYCE (all-you-can-eat) places. The Dragon rolls and spicy rolls are pretty much different than any other place I've been to which keeps me coming back.
The wifey doesn't like sushi, so she likes to stick with the Chinese and Thai food which she absolutely loves.
The look and feel is nice, sort of like an outdoorsy theme. Service was friendly and fast and the bill is reasonable for a place like this.
Anyways, give Axia a try, it's one of those places that'll keep you coming back for more.

Picture a really good Mandarin. AYCE with great taste and prices. Yes the service is slow but the place is clean and nice. The food is top notch for ayce. I dare you to find better Thai and Sushi for this price. Lunch is $15 and dinner is $25. Something for everyone and please try the deep fried cheesecake, so good. My fav place for the last year. I had been to JJ Japanese Thai beforehand and was never disappointed. This was my third visit and I was more than pleased. The restaurant was nicely decorated with beautiful table linens, wall decorations, and pillows. The servers were kind and attentive. Our server, whose name was Alina, was so kind and friendly, she asked us if there was anything we needed on a consistent basis and also provided free ice cream for being such great customers! I was pleasantly impressed. The food was amazing, the pad thai was filling and excellent, along with the maki. I would come back here in a heartbeat, no doubt about it!

This restaurant has excellent sushi. The fish is so fresh and very high quality. The ratio of fish to rice is perfect. I've been eating there since it opened and their quality and great service have been consistent since day 1. Our "go to" meal for two is the medium Sushi Moriawase which is a 30 piece assortment of sushi and maki, a small salad and miso soup. I find the value for the money very good at $30 for two (+ tax and tip). I'm thankful they opened so close to home so I can get a good sushi fix whenever I need one!

My husband and I discovered Dai Ichi several years ago almost by accident on New Year's Eve when the Mandarin was overcrowded and behind on their reservations. I have always been grateful to Mandarin for their ineptitude.
Dai Ichi is a small, out of the way place, tucked into a nondescript strip mall near a Longo's and Shopper's Drug Mart, but it is definitely one of the best sushi places in the area. Good people and outstanding food. It has become a staple with our family, and we even took a large party there for dinner one Christmas!

Faced with an 8 page menu, exhaustive in its range of enticing descriptions of Japanese and Korean food, I opted to sample the former side by having soup, salad and appetizers (3 as it turned out). I love miso soup and have had incarnations of it in many places in Canada and abroad but this broth was simply fabulous in the depth and complexity of what is often a flat, watery introduction to a meal. The poky salad (fresh tuna, julienned seaweed, etc.) was vibrant, flavourful and spicy as advertised.
I started my appetizer foray with mandu yaki (small homemade dumplings with a combo of 8 different ingredients) and tako yaki (fried minced octopus balls with a unagi and katsu sauce on the side). Can you say FABULOUS?. Having washed it all down with warm sake, I rested for a while and then tackled a tempura dish: soft shelled crab (4 pieces) with a ponzu sauce. Cheer again.
Service was attentive and friendly and relaxed especially when the young lady and John, the son of the owner realized that I wasn't in a hurry. (I was honoured with a tempura zucchini sample from the owner's garden (in the back he said when I mentioned that he had tomatoes growing in the front). This is simply wonderful food, presented with smiles and pride by people who love doing what they do.
I can't wait to return and try some deeply Korean dishes of which there is an abundance on that wide-ranging menu.

One of the best chicken teryakkis I've ever had, fast food or otherwise. Sesame seeds + hot sauce = perfection.
Only complaints : Not enough veggies (but might be enough for some people), staff is not the friendlist (but not rude or anything), and..... it's in a mall. But you're paying $6 for lunch, what do you expect!

I am Japanese and I like this restaurant! I have ordered Sushi only. I haven't tried other menus yet.
Sushi is good quality and service is good. I pay around 10 dollars for sushi. (5 pieces of sushi and 8 pieces of maki rolls) It's very very affordable.
If other people complain that it's not the best quality, this is not the place to go. You can't get the best quality for 10 bucks. Please go to restaurant owned by Japanese.
However, if you're looking for affordable, decent quality sushi, I highly recommend Bento Box.
I've been to 4 other Japanese restaurants in Burlington but I only go to Bento Box now.
