The food is always fresh. The service is prompt and polite. But most important the restaurant always looks and smells clean. The only thing I find wrong is that all the Mary Brown locations close at 2100 NOT 2300 as shown in the Yellow Pages. Other than that I urge you to try their fine food. One of my favourites is the BIG MARY chicken sandwich. Enjoy their great food at very reasonable prices. (Next to Shoppers Drug Mart at Kennedy Rd. and Queen St.) Read more

I work in customer service, so I understand that things don't always go as planned. It is how an establishment deals with their mistakes that really shows how good they are , in my humble opinion. We go to Swiss Chalet all the time, the food is always hot and delicious and up to the Swiss Chalet Standard, the service is usually pretty good, quick for sure and the restaurant smells good and is clean. We often order take out from this location, and we have had a few problems, orders not being filled correctly, no gravy for the poutine, little things like that. One time we ordered and they called back 30 minutes later to tell us there was a snow storm and the delivery person went home! Needless to say I complained. I got a personal response from the Manager appologizing for our bad experience and comping us for two 1/4 chicken dinners! WOW, I thought that was just great. I get that mistakes are made, but I have never had anyone take responsibility and compensate me so quickly and politely! Since then we have ordered a few times and we haven't had anymore problems.
