Treaty 7
Cochrane Public Library honours and acknowledges that we are situated on Treaty 7 territory, traditional lands of the Stoney Nakoda peoples of the Chiniki, Bearspaw and Goodstoney, the Tsuut’ina, the Niitsitapi (Blackfoot) peoples of Siksika, Piikani and Kainai Band. We also respectfully acknowledge that we are on the homelands of the Rocky View Métis District 4 of the Otipemisiwak Goverment of the Métis Nation of Alberta.
